This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and capable professional to play a key role in shaping Dublin’s housing landscape. As Development Manager, working to a senior officer, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of new housing projects from concept to completion—ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery. You will also support the Council’s work to prepare for the next round of housing projects including identifying Council owned land and assets but also identifying opportunities to acquire land and to develop new partnerships. 

You will work closely with internal teams and external multi-disciplinary consultants to manage complex residential schemes. Your expertise in housing policy, market dynamics, and development viability will be essential in navigating the challenges and opportunities of urban housing delivery. The ideal candidate will have relevant technical qualifications, but most importantly will have a strong interest in the housing and development sector, with the associated drive, work ethic and adaptability.
