Applications are invited from suitably qualfiied persons for the following vacancies which may arise within Longford County Council. 
The overall role and responsibility of the Dog Warden is the management of Longford
County Council’s dog control service and the dog pound. This will involve attending to and
managing all animals at the pound and maintaining all associated records. It will involve
dealing with the public, liaising with and working alongside co-workers and reporting to the
Administrative Officer, to ensure all duties are carried out to the highest level.
