Duties
The duties include, but are not limited to the following: • They will keep and furnish such records and reports relating to their duties as directed by the Councils Engineering and / or supervisory staff. They will operate such systems (including information technology) as are necessary to achieve maximum efficiency in the post. • Participation in mandatory Health and Safety training and all other training as required. • Operating existing technology and any new technology that may be introduced in the future and recording daily operations on such systems. • The person employed will be required to carry out all duties allotted them by the County Council through its Engineering and Supervisory staff, relative to the inspection, repair and maintenance of the Councils vehicle fleet, portable plant and related services, sewerage and water installations under its control • and any such other duties that may be assigned to them from time to time.
The candidate will be required to:
. Be available to be on the on-call rota for emergency callouts.
• hold a current safe pass card.
• participate on an afterhours “on call” rota.
• serve in any of the premises occupied by South Dublin County Council from time to time, including any other premises that may be required in the future.
