Wexford County Council invites applicants for the post of Civil Technician Grade II.
Selection for this post will be by means of interview and candidates may be shortlisted based on applications submitted. Panels may be formed from which vacancies may be filled. Applications will only be accepted on the official Wexford County Council application form as advertised with the post.

Closing date for receipt of completed application forms for the above post is 5.00 pm on Thursday 6th February, 2025.
 

Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms –
(a) (i) Have passed the N.C.E.A./H.E.T.A.C. National Certificate Final Examination/Higer
Certificate (Level 6 on NFQ) in: -
Civil Engineering or 
Geosurveying or
Mechanical Engineering or
Construction Studies or
Architectural Technology/Graphics
 OR
hold an equivalent qualification
 OR
(ii) Have satisfactory service, immediately preceding the latest date for receipt of completed
application forms, in a technician post at Grade II level, or in an analogous post under a Local Authority or Health Board in the State.
(b) Hold a current clean full driving licence (minimum Class B) and have access to a car at all times for use in their work, details of which must be entered on the application form.
 It is also desirable but not essential that candidates:
(a) Hold a current Safe Pass Card
Successful candidates will be required to have a valid Safe Pass Card prior to taking up duty.
