The successful candidate will be required to complete workplace learning in an apprenticeship engineering position within Clare County Council.
They will also be required to attend off site training at a recognised college they will be assigned through SOLAS throughout their qualification (QQI Level 6 Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering).
On completion of the apprenticeship programme the successful candidate will have experience in the following areas: Engineering Practices, Mathematic & Scientific Techniques, Information Technology, Design & Development and Business Information.
