Reporting to the Head of Enterprise in the Local Enterprise Office, or such designated person as may be assigned from time to time, the Senior Enterprise Development Officer will work as a member of a small dynamic team providing support and assistance to small and micro businesses. The primary role of the Senior Enterprise Development Officer will be as a key executive staff member and to support the Head of Enterprise in the delivery of services and operations in line with the SLA and in the achievement of the LEO’s business goals. They will help drive the delivery of an integrated range of actions and programmes to promote entrepreneurship, enterprise and economic development within the county and increase the number of micro businesses with ambition and development potential within the county.
The role will involve significant client engagement at the individual and/or business level and will require engagement with the wider business community and other business support agencies. The successful applicant will be required to carry out and manage their tasks, within the confines of the budget as approved
by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and any other resources secured by the LEO
