Job Summary

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful applicants shall render to the Council such services as may be required from time to time by the Council as Pay Station Attendant and any other duties assigned to them.

Duties of the Pay Station Attendant shall include but not limited to:

1. 1. Opening car parks each day.
  2. Collecting cash from outlaying car parks.
  3. Monitoring car park entries, exits and Automatic Pay Stations.
  4. Maintaining car park machinery.
  5. Reporting maintenance faults.
  6. Reconciling income, submitting shift reports, maintaining financial reports and data.
  7. Manning the pay station and responding to the public through an intercom system
  8. Working with and liaising with Business/Shop Owners.
  9. Ensuring the car parks and pay station always remain in a clean and safe condition.
