A Panel will be formed from qualified candidates for the position of Plant Fitter (Craftworker Grade), from which permanent and temporary appointments may be made. This is a pensionable whole-time position on the basis of a 39-hour 5-day week. This role may involve flexible working hours and may include evening and weekend work. The successful candidate must be available for call outs.

Each Candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms:

1. have a good standard of general education
2. have completed and passed all phases of a recognised apprenticeship in HGV Mechanics or Construction Plant Fitter
3. have 2 years relevant experience in HGV or Construction Mechanics
4. Have a current Class B Driving Licence without any endorsements

5. Safety, Health and Welfare at work and maintaining Health & Safety Records
6. Recording Plant Maintenance and Repair Records
7. Working on own initiative in a demanding work environment
